of these are just a starting point and can be customized to be your

Stability - Wolverine Custom Homes
has made the investment in our model, showroom, and warehouse for
two reasons:
- First, we intend to be here for as long
as you enjoy your home. Many builders are not rooted in one location.
They have a phone, a tool trailer and maybe a rented office. They
may even do good work most of the time. But, will they be here
next year or in another state? Can they offer nearly 50
references?
- Second, our investment allows us to bypass
the middlemen that most builders have to go through for hardwood,
tile, lighting, cultured stone, wood siding & paneling, door
hardware, and windows.

The pieces that make a house your unique home - Interior & Exterior
Pine and Cedar, hardwood flooring from Canada, First run Tiles,
Unique Lighting, Amish Furniture, Dutch Quality Stone and Eldorado
Stone, Emtek Door Hardware, Eon Decking. Yes you can find "cheaper"
alternatives to these products, but you will not find the quality
products we offer for less money anywhere. That is our promise.
Value
- We usually build on a cost plus basis. This gives the homeowner
much better control of the cost during budgeting and throughout
construction. You will receive a copy of the invoice for every item
in your home. We charge a flat fee to manage the project, even if
we are buying at wholesale and passing the savings through to you.
When you make a last minute change, you are billed only the actual
cost for the change plus our flat project management fee.
Organization - Construction is a complicated process. We
rely upon Master Builder, an integrated computer program designed
for custom builders. This program allows us to:
- Coordinate timelines - This keeps the project
moving.
Manage
vendors - Tracks schedules, payments and insurance. Insurance
management for subcontractors is a critical aspect. We don't want
to expose our clients to the risk of a roofer or other contractor
without insurance. Our system will alert us when his insurance
expires and will not allow a check to be printed unless up to
date.
- Track project costs and provide actuate
billings - At any point in the project we can report the exact
actual cost of your home to compare to budgets.
We
have two unique paths for construction. Custom on-site stick built
or Cabin Series which can be either stick built or "systems
built". The path is largely determined by complexity of design,
but also by budget & timeframe.
